Thats when you can hear the Mursaat yelling lol at you.

Oh hell, I just realized my main character, that I've been playing the hell out of lately, isn't infused. XD And she's been wearing this armor for months! Oh well, I'm about to trade it out anyway...
On topic, I once joined a group for a mission then told them to wait a sec while I fixed my skills. I'd been running needed to change skills completely, didn't have the right template, so like an idiot I started methodically removing my skills. I get down to the last thing on the bar, my rez, and then -- I'm zoning? What the christ?!
Turns out our GOGOGOGOGOGOGOGObot leader didn't see what I said or didn't care. Luckily it wasn't some endgame mission and it was mostly a mage group that needed a meatshield, so I just stayed up front and uselessly swung my scythe at everything. We made it.

Did a CoF run this weekend, and the 600 died a few times. There were 4 monks, me (a Me/Mo with WoH and HB),another mesmer, a ranger, and an Ele. 600 dies and he tells us to Lerroy the next group of enchanted so we can rez. We all charge in, and I start healing, just for fun, to see how long we could last.
We end up beating the next two groups (enchanted and other popups) and rezzing the 600. I lol'd since no one planned it.
He gave us a nice discount since he saved him two more times. Heh.

I forgot to swap out my 55ing armor before going into an AB once. I didn't bring the 55 skills, just the armor. I think I died twice. Just stayed back and got lucky.
I also did one of the Mursaat missions after I bought new armor. I've messed up alot of things while monking, as my guildies can attest to.

Just messing around in RA a week ago, I was running a WoH / Hybrid build, with the drawback that I forgot to switch my attributes back to healing from smiting. 11 Straight wins and the team complemented me on my monking, with only 8 prot and divine favor healing lol.

Now when people always rant on about the price difference between +29 and +30 health mods I can point to you. Half my characters still aren't infused, even in HM those mursaat go down like flies. It does always piss off any other human players in my team tho, good for laughs.

Yeah, that would have worked great against the 24 degen.

I was a warrior without Infusion, and survived fighting Mursaat.
The key was, another Warrior would grab aggro.
It was pretty wild, never had Spectral Agony cast on me. Not once.
So, yeah, you can survive Mursaat w/o Infusion!

Oh... I went once by a whole mission only with 3 skills out of 8 and wearing the wrong headgear (+4 earth instead +4 fire)
No one noticed, anyways, I'm pretty good with limited builds, XDDDD.

Heh, did the exact same whoops with my Necro. Shelved for roughly a year and then I decided to finish prophecies with him, but first I needed new armor, so to Kamadan I went. Get 1/2 way through Thunderhead and go oh &$*# this is going to hurt. Surprisingly, my straight h/h group didn't suffer a single casualty and I even managed to do the bonus

We went into a couple gvg's where our monk had just come from RA or TA where he had been running a Life Bond SoR bar, made for a bit of concern but thankfully he wasnt the LoD Infuser at the time and we somehow made it through

I was in a similar situation as the OP. Back when I was in a guild, I was helping some of their other characters on THK.
I decided to go on my wammo, forgetting I recently got her new headgear, boots, and some other piece.
Point is, Spectral Agony was still unpleasant. Somehow though, I was able to Healing Signet pwn it. HOW?!

Yes, on many occasions with all my armors on my monk and ranger. GG. Except, I died on almost all occasions.

Yeah... I own myself quite often in this way.
- Helping guildie with RoF on my ranger. Brand new Norn armor not infused. GFG.
- Helping another guildie with THK, asking him if he was infused. Of course, mine wasn't. At least I carry multiple sets.
- Clearing UW with ursans, I was terra tanking. Forgot to switch attributes. Asked the team to resign, switched, paid the entry fee. A couple days after the UW run, I thought I'd do FoW with my ele. Switched from terra tank to fire manually, forgot attributes... took me a couple mobs to realize. To myself: "Why oh WHY doesn't Glowing Gaze give me a decent amount of ener-..." Over vent (was running with guildies): "... I'm a noob. Resign guys..."
- Forgot pieces of Foundry smiter armor (back when I was running with 16/15) on my monk for a few FoW runs and other stuff. Never noticed until I was wondering why my sandals weren't matching the rest of my armor.
- Going in a mission/explorable with the wrong headpiece, especially on my necro. Or without henchies/heroes, then wondering why I can't kill crap.

Spirit Bond is better than Prot Spirit against Spectral Agony on the uninfused anyway.

I did the same kind of thing. Except all my party was dead, and we had two Golems up only and me healing. Well I healed the golems with what I had and we got through the entire Disc's health like that. I was surprised.

The 100 unconditional dps does add up nicely though... There is a reason people infuse their armor, don't try to act like it doesn't effect you. It may not be an instant-kill with decent monks, but not everyone uses sb, and if so it is a hell of alot more than just the degen you're suggesting.

I was doing the Raisu Palace mission for the first time and my fire spells were hitting EXTREMELY low, so I was like "these shiroken must have +1000 vs fire or something". Then I realized that my attributes were totally wrong because I was farming something before the mission. I beat the mission with 10 dmg meteor showers and celestial storms. And no one noticed that my attributes were messed up.

Cuz there's no such thing as Factions infusion perhaps???
Celestial Skills are the only thing I can think of that could even be anywhere close to what you mean...
